Design 2077 Arcadia

We have made mention of this design under a separate article but I think its worthy of additional mention. Arcadia was designed primarily for racing under I.O.R. but her generous beam and freeboard and limited draft made necessary by the shoal water at her owners home pier should make her a great cruising boat. She was built of aluminum by Palmer Johnson of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and launched in 1970.

Here are the plans.

Principal Dimensions
LOA 48-6"
LWL 36-2"
Beam 13-6"
Draft 6-0" (board up) 10-1" (board down)
Displacement 27,650 lbs
Ballast 12,000 lbs
Sail Area 1,042 sq ft
